A Long Journey

This journey of mine is worth remebering. A trip which started from Ujjain to Indore to Badwani. Can't understand...Locate it from google map...
Well, I traveled to the interiors of the state. I visited places which I had never thought I would ever go to...places around Ujjain are far different from places around Badwani...thers is too much of gap observed. However Badwani was an intersting place all together. Every 10 kms one comes across a different habitat and environment all together. No doubt it was very hot ...but every next visit you would see something unexpected. People over there are Hard Worker's...they have converted the barren hilly terrains into agricultural land which is really commendable... At one instance you would see villages which does not have a road to get in, at another instance you would see a well developed village. Quite confusing to understand, but thats true India....

Brands are now seen in these villages and one can see the pentetration of hughe brands in the rural areas..more importantly people are slowly moving towards understanding the importance of branded products...From Soap to Mobile, the market is developing itself and a time would come where these areas would no longer be termed as rural......

First 7 day Trip to Ujjain

If you are wondering where Ujjain is, its in Madhy Pradesh. A two hour drive from Indore, I reached the holy land of temples. Ujjain is know for its Mahakal temple and people from various part of the country come here to visit this temple.
However this trip was uniquefor me. Everything I did was for the first time . Right from sitting in the plane, travelling alone etc.etc. Initially I was confused, wondering What I am doing here? But this was just the start.. and from there onwards have been enjoying the work which I do.
I got the chance to visit around 6 villages and understand the activity which we were working on. The guidance of my superiors helped me to enter and understand this. I got the opportunity to understand the religion, customs, people, life of people living in these villages. The amount of respect given to an outsider is truly commendable. Also I got the opportunity to work with a big brand of India - Marico and understand the working of FMCG business in small town areas. The learning scale recieved here is hughe and got exposure to learn not only the media pattern of working but also FMCG and the detailing which gets into it.

My 1st BLOG

Finally I step in a new World..."The Corporate World". I have been waiting for this day for past 2 years and on 14th May I got this opportunity to join one of the biggest organisations.."Starcom MediaVest Group - Xpanse Asia".

Ever since I have joined this place, I have been visiting places. In a span of one month I have got this chance to visit the true India. A different world exsists which I have heard, read or seen in TV's and now I see that world with my eyes. Its beautiful and different at the same time scary ( sometimes) but I am happy to get a job in Marketing and have the opportunity to work at the very ground level.
